However, that stated, I know that sometimes kids are misdiagnosed because they aren't as calm or as focused as other kids. And there are so many ways cope with symptoms of ADD and/or ADHD, like teaching accommodations (I think though that so many teachers are overwhelmed with class sizes that are too large that it may be hard to accommodate for students with ADD or ADHD but accommodations really help) and diet changes. I'm sure all will turn out well. Good luck! |
