| Description | It is 1922 and the world is at peace. The Peabody-Emerson family are enjoying an excavation in Egypt, but their digging is soon interrupted and they turn again to detecting, when they hear a lurid tale of a man's mysterious death. The widow of the dead man is convinced her husband was the victim of a curse, and implores the Emersons to return a small statue that she thinks killed him, to the tomb from which it was stolen.
